An essential problem of the theory of functional-differential equations is to determine whether an operator \(A\) under consideration is conjugate to a bounded (or, eventually, unbounded) linear operator and to find, if it is possible, the explicit form of \(B\). In the paper under review, there are given necessary and sufficient conditions for solutions of that problem in Banach spaces of continuous functions, absolutely continuous functions, functions with bounded variation (continuous from right and vanishing at the end of the interval \([a,b]\), domain of definition), \(L_p\)-functions \((1\leq p\leq\infty)\), all real-valued. Isometrically isomorphic spaces here are identified.
