Apollonian circle packings are constructed in the following way. We place two congruent circles inside and tangent to a given circle. In the two curvilinear triangles we place tangent circles as large as possible. We get six new curvilinear triangles and repeat the process, and so on. An Apollonian packing is said to be integral if every circle in the packing has an integer curvature. ``This paper studies number-theoretic properties of the set of integer curvatures appearing in such packings''.
