This paper is centred on a computer algorithm for solving an integral equation for the density of a simple layer harmonic potential on the basis of the theorem on the unique solvability in the subspace of functions orthogonal to unity on a surface \(S\) of the smoothness class \(C^{1,\alpha}\). A theorem on the existence of a linear set of equations that retains the properties of the integral model and whose solution converges to the solution of the integral equation in the uniform metric is proved.
