From authors' summary: We consider a three-dimensional model of slow thermal convection in a highly viscous fluid with temperature-dependent density and viscosity. The model is described by the equations of quasi-steady viscous inhomogeneous incompressible flow, by transport equations for density and viscosity, and by heat balance equation. The numerical algorithms are designed and implemented on parallel computers.
