On the reduction of one second-order quasilinear partial differential equation to linear equations and its solutions (Q1395232)

In this paper the author analyzes a second-order quasilinear PDE containing a real parameter \(\lambda\). Depending on the parameter \(\lambda\), the reduction to a linear equation is performed through different transformations. The equation under study is a multidimensional generalization of the equation arising in the modeling of the wind field in the central part (eye) of a typhoon.
