Groups of hierarchomorphisms of trees and related Hilbert spaces (Q1395800)

Section 0 contains historical notes regarding hierarchomorphisms and describes the purposes of the paper. Sections 1 and 2 contain notation and terminology regarding simplicial trees, and actions of groups on trees. Section 3 defines and studies hierarchomorphisms of trees. Section 4 analyses a Hilbert space \({\mathcal H}_\lambda(J)\) associated to a tree \(J\) and the action of a group of hierarchomorphisms on this space. Sections 5 and 6 construct and study canonical \(\text{Hier}^\circ\)-invariant subspaces of \({\mathcal H}_\lambda\).
