In the interesting paper the author introduces a set function, called affine dimension, and then applies it to the study of convex curves \(\Gamma\) in \(\mathbb{R}^2\). These curves are considered as graphs over finite closed intervals of continuous convex functions \(\varphi\). At first the author defines an affine dimension \(\dim_a(E)\) for \(E\subset\mathbb{R}^2\) and then he proves 5 theorems and 1 corollary. The role of \(\varphi''\) in consideration of curvature is taken by the Lebesgue-Stieltjes measure \(\mu\) induced on \((a,b)\) by the nondecreasing function \(\varphi'\). The main results seem to be the following statements: (1) The inequality \(\dim_a (\Gamma)\leq 2/3\) holds. (2) If \(\dim_a (\Gamma) <2/3\), then \(\mu\) is singular with respect to Lebesgue measure on \([a,b]\). (3) If \(\varphi''\) exists everywhere on \([a,b]\) and if \(\dim_a (\Gamma) <2/3\), then \(\Gamma\) is a line segment.
