Characterization theorems for the projective space and vector bundle adjunction (Q1396509)

Let \(X\) be a smooth projective variety of dimension \(n\) over an algebraically closed field. In line with some characterizations of \(\mathbb{P}^n\) by Mori, Kachi, Kollár and others, the author finds conditions for \(X\) to be either \(\mathbb{P}^n\), a quadric hypersurface of \(\mathbb{P}^{n+1}\), or a scroll. Some conditions are expressed in terms of the nefness of adjoint line bundles coming from vector bundles on \(X\).
