    Given any integers \(k_1, \dots, k_n\) \((n \geq 2)\) with \(k_i \geq 2\) for \(i=1, \dots,n\) and an integer \(l \geq 1\), the authors study the group given by the balanced presentation \[ \Gamma (k_1, \dots, k_n;l) = \langle x_1,\dots,x_n : (x_ix_{i+1}\cdots x_{i+n-1})^l = x_{i+n-1}^{k_{i+n-1}} i=1,\dots,n\rangle \] where the indices are modulo \(n\). They construct a 3--complex which is a closed orientable 3-manifold \(M(k_1, \dots , k_n;l)\) whose spine is the canonical 2-complex associated with the presentation \(\Gamma (k_1, \dots, k_n;l)\). Finally they prove that these manifolds \(M(k_1, \dots , k_n;l)\) are homeomorphic to Seifert fibered spaces.
