    In a previous paper [\textit{Y. Martinez-Maure}, Arch. Math. 72, 444-453 (1999; Zbl 0955.52003)] the author studied the extension of classical geometric inequalities for convex bodies to hedgehogs. In the present paper the author defines an \(N\)-hedgehog in \(n\)-dimensional euclidean space as the envelope of a family of cooriented hyperplanes including exactly \(N\) hyperplanes with given unit normal vector; also definitions for algebraic area, mixed algebraic area and algebraic length of a multihedgehog are provided. A Brunn-Minkowski type inequality, a Minkowski-type inequality and an isoperimetric type inequality, and some other geometric inequalities are proved. Some of these inequalities are consequence of Sturm-Hurwitz theorem; the author provides also a geometric interpretation of this theorem and a new proof for \(C^2\)-functions which fills an important gap because several mathematicians [\textit{V. I. Arnold}, Am. Math. Soc. Fields Inst. Com. 24, 39-54 (1999; Zbl 0946.01011)] have complained that the known proofs of this result are all of them incomprehensible in the sense that in spite of being possible to reproduce, it was not possible to get intuition from them.
