In previous works, the authors have studied geometric structures on two-dimensional simplicial complexes, namely, ideal hyperbolic structures on the triangles and measured foliations (which are transverse to the edges and contain one singular point on each triangle). Deformations of those hyperbolic structures are constructed by changing the gluing map along the edges, and therefore there exists a Teichmüller space. Similarly, there exists a space of measured foliations. In this paper, the authors consider two homeomorphic simplical complexes and they show that there is a natural homeomorphism between their Teichmüller spaces, and similarly between their spaces of measured foliations. In particular, those geometric constructions are independent of the simplicial structure.
