    In the first part of the paper the author continues some of his own research concerning a very abstract construction of certain ``generalized elements'' in the form of finitely additive measures on a measurable space. In the second part, the abstract construction is used to define certain types of ``generalized trajectories'' of linear control systems of the form: \[ \dot x(t)=A(t)x(t)+f(t)b(t), \;t\in I:=[t_0,\theta_0] \] which may be accompanied by various kinds of boundary, phase-space and control constraints.
