Vacuum Einstein metrics with bidimensional Killing leaves. II: Global aspects. (Q1397832)

A formalism, allowing one to construct global Einstein metrics by matching together local ones, is described. The two local forms of vacuum Einstein metrics admit a Killing algebra: a) such that the distribution \(D\) generated by the vector fields is bidimensional; b) the orthogonal distribution of \(D\) is completely integrable and transversal to \(D\). The paper presents a solution to match together these local metrics, in order to get global non-extendable ones. For Part I, see ibid. 16, 95--120 (2002; Zbl 1033.53021).
