Let \(A\) be an abelian variety over a number field \(K\). The main result of this paper says that if \(P\) and \(Q\) are \(K\)-rational points of \(A\) such that the order of the \(\pmod p\) reduction of \(Q\) divides that of \(P\), then there exists a \(K\)-endomorphism \(\varphi\) of \(A\) and a positive integer \(k\) such that \(\varphi (P)=kQ\). Furthermore the author provides us with an example of an abelian surface for which we cannot strengthen \(\varphi(P)=kQ\) to ask that \(k=1\).
