String theory has focused renewed attention on the twisted \(K\)-theory described by \textit{J. Rosenberg} [J. Aust. Math. Soc., Ser. A 47, 368--381 (1989; Zbl 0695.46031)]. \textit{P. Bouwknegt}, \textit{A. Carey}, \textit{V. Mathai}, \textit{M. Murray}, and \textit{D. Stevenson} [Commun. Math. Phys. 228, 17--45 (2002; Zbl 1036.19005)] gave a definition of this \(K\)-theory in terms of bundle gerbe modules, and they defined the Chern character from this \(K\)-theory to twisted cohomology. The paper under review makes explicit the odd-degree Chern character and defines the Chern character in the equivariant and holomorphic cases.
