Following the notions of \(F_\mu\)-open sets and \(F_\mu\)-continuity as introduced by \textit{M. Macho Stadler} and \textit{M. A. de Prada Vicente} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 58, No. 3, 365--373 (1993; Zbl 0814.54003)] and that of the notion of \(F\)-retract due to \textit{S. E. Rodabaugh} [J. Math. Anal. Appl., 79, 273--285 (1981; Zbl 0462.54003)], the present authors introduce weaker forms of the notion of \(F_\mu\)-open sets, \(F_\mu\)-continuity and \(F_\mu\)-retract and provide a large number of examples to compare all of these notions in questions.
