In this paper the author shows that if the geodesic flow on the two-dimensional torus admits a third power symmetry field with respect to the impulses and this field is not Hamiltonian, then in the conformal multiplier logarithm of the metric \[ ds^2 = \frac{M}2 \big(dq_1^2 + dq_2^2\big) \] on \(T^2\) the variables are separated.
