    Hardy's inequality \[ \sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\frac{\left|\hat{f}\left( n\right) \right|}{n+1}\leq C\left\|f\right\|_{H^{1}}, \] is valid for \(f\) in the Hardy space \(H^{1}=\left\{ f\in L^{1}\left( \mathbf{T}\right) :\hat{f}\left( n\right) =0\text{ for all }n<0\right\} \). The paper considers generalizations of Hardy's inequality to vector-valued functions and series of the form \(\sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\frac{\left|\hat {f}\left( n_{k}\right) \right|}{k+1}\leq C\left\|f\right\|_{H^{1}}\) with, for example, \(n_{k}=k^{\alpha}\), \(\alpha\in\mathbf{N}\), or \(n_{k}=2^{k}\). Conditions on the underlying vector space that guarantee versions of Hardy's inequality hold are identified.
