Let \(L\) be a lattice. A group \(G\) is said to be \(L\)-free if the subgroup lattice \(L(G)\) has no sublattice isomorphic to \(L\). The author studies finite groups that are \(L\)-free for the lattices \(L=L_6\) and \(L_7\) with 6 and 7 elements, respectively. The structure of finite groups that are both \(L_6\) and \(L_7\)-free was determined by \textit{C. Bagiński} and \textit{A. Sakowicz} [Colloq. Math. 82, No. 1, 65-77 (1999; Zbl 0948.20011)] using a theorem of \textit{J. Krempa} and \textit{B. Terlikowska-Osłowska} [Contributions to general algebra 9, 219-230 (1995; Zbl 0884.06003)] about lattices. The author obtains the structure of the groups whose lattice of subgroups has only one of the conditions: \(L_6\)-free or \(L_7\)-free.
