It is shown that if \(G\) is an indecomposable finitely generated infinite Coxeter group whose associated bilinear form is indefinite and non-degenerated, then the reduced \(C^*\)-algebra \(C^*_r(G)\) is simple with unique normalized trace. For any Coxeter group \(G\) with a finite generating set \(S\), the following Haagerup inequality is established: there exist constants \(C>0\) and \(\Lambda\in\mathbb{N}\) such that, for any function \(h\in l^2(G)\) supported on elements of length \(n\) with respect to \(S\) and for all \(f\in l^2(G)\), \[ \| f*h\| _2\leq C(n+1)^{\frac{3}{2}\,\Lambda}\| f\| _2\,\| h\| _2. \]
