This paper deals with the existence of continuous solutions for a degenerate parabolic equation which occurs as a model for the two phase Stefan problem when a nonlinear law of diffusion is considered. The existence of a locally continuous solution is obtained by using the interior equicontinuity of a sequence of approximate solutions.
