The author proposes a study of the convergence properties of a variant of the parallel chaotic multisplitting iteration method for solving large sparse systems of linear equations for H and positive definite matrices. Moreover, a monotone convergence theory and a monotone comparison theorem are established for this method if the matrix is monotone. This leads to several sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the convergence of this nonstationnary multisplitting iteration method.
