Qualitative behavior of output for sampled-data feedback control systems (Q1410907)

Sampled-data feedback control systems are considered. The behaviour of the continuous plant between sampling instants is investigated. The systems are described by linear diffential-difference equations with varying coefficients and almost periodic disturbances. The coefficients are assumed to be almost periodic functions in time. Different properties of almost periodic, quasi-periodic and periodic functions and sequences are derived. In the main theorems conditions for the existence of a unique almost periodic solution and an almost periodic digital controller are presented. In addition the existence of bounds on the almost periodic solutions is investigated. The results are specialized for quasi-periodic and periodic systems. Detailed proofs are given for each theorem.
