Uniform persistence for Lotka--Volterra-type delay differential systems. (Q1412217)

The author established sufficient conditions for uniform persistence and contractivity of the solutions (and global asymptotic stability) for models governed by Lotka-Volterra-type-delay differential system. In particular, the results in [\textit{W. Wendi} and \textit{M. Zhien}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 158, No. 1, 256--268 (1991; Zbl 0731.34085)] for predator-prey system and \textit{Z. Lu} and \textit{Y. Takeuchi} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 22, No. 7, 847--856 (1994; Zbl 0809.92025)] for a competitive system are extended.
