The authors introduce the \(\mathcal C\)-concavity condition, and prove a new existence theorem of Nash equilibrium in \(n\)-person games with \(\mathcal C\)-concavity. As an application, they prove a minimax theorem. Finally, they provide some examples of a two-person game where the new \(\mathcal C\)-concavity can be applied, but the previous general concavity conditions cannot be applied. Their results generalize the corresponding results due to \textit{J. Nash} [Ann. Math. (2) 54, 286--295 (1951; Zbl 0045.08202)] and \textit{F. Forgó} [Lect. Notes Econ. Math. Syst. 405, 53--61 (1994; Zbl 0802.90128)] in several ways.
