The Cauchy problem for the equation \(u_t - \) \(\Delta u+\) \(N(u,\nabla u)=\) \(f\) is considered with the conditions \(u^q \cdot N(u,\nabla u)=\) \(0\), where ``\(\cdot\)'' stands for the scalar product in \(L^2 (\mathbb{R}^n)\), \(q=\) \(2m-1\) or \(q=\) \((2m-1)^{-1}\), and \(m\) being a positive integer. Decay estimates of solutions in the \(L^2\)-norm are established by the method of multiplication, with \(u^q\) being a multiplier.
