Let \(T\) be a classical Calderón-Zygmund operator. The authors consider the vector-valued operators associated with \(T\): \[ T_qf(x):=\biggl(\sum_j| Tf_j(x)| ^q\biggr)^{1/q}. \] For \(q\in(1,\infty)\), they obtain optimal weighted norm inequalities for \(T_q\). Their inequalities are optimal since they coincide with the corresponding scalar inequalities which are known to be optimal [see \textit{C. Pérez}, J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 49, No. 2, 296--308 (1994; Zbl 0797.42010)]. They also obtain optimal weighted norm inequalities for the commutators \([h,T]_q\), where \(h\) is a BMO function.
