On positive solutions of nonlinear fractional differential equations (Q1422495)

The paper considers the existence of positive solutions to an initial value problem of fractional order (where the fractional derivatives are considered in the Riemann-Liouville sense). Theorems are given on existence of positive solutions, both in the classical sense and in the Carathéodory sense. The paper concludes with an example.
