The authors consider the time evolution of a universe with some spherically symmetric inhomogeneities. By exploring some asymptotic solutions of Einstein's equations, they show that for large \(t\) and \(r\), the solution tends towards homogeneous FRW universe, while for small \(t\) and \(r\), a suitable behavior for structure formation is obtained. They also show that the inclusion of a cosmological constant does not alter qualitatively such behaviors.
