On coefficients of Yablonskii-Vorob'ev polynomials (Q1425461)

The authors present a formula for the coefficients of the Yablonskii-Vorob'ev polynomials [\textit{M. Taneda}, Nagoya Math. J. 159, 87--111 (2000; Zbl 0972.34076) and \textit{S. Fukutani}, \textit{K. Okamoto} and \textit{H. Umemura}, ibid. 159, 179--200 (2000; Zbl 0972.34077)], satisfying the recursion \[ T_{n+1}(x) T_{n-1}(x)= xT_n(x)^2+ T_n(x) T^{\prime\prime}_n(x)^2 \] with the initial condition \(T_0(x)= 1\), \(T_1(x)= x\). They further study the reduction modulo a prime number of the polynomials.
