In this interesting paper the author discusses the question whether or not geometry helps students learn linear algebra. Can geometry be an obstacle to learning linear algebra or can it be helpful? Here ``geometry'' is understood to mean a mathematical model for our physical space. From the author's point of view geometry turns out helpful only under certain conditions and with a specific use of drawings. Her conclusion is based upon the current situation in France, where the educational studies have taken place. Reviewer's remark: We should!
