W-curves and surfaces are generalized to rational W-curves and surfaces using homogeneous coordinates. Their envelope properties are discussed. The convexity condition of the plane rational W-curves is studied. A general definition of surfaces in multivariate B-form is given by raising the dimension of polyhedron region. An application in apparel engineering functional design, respectively a three-dimensional clothing model, is presented shortly.
