The author constructs some new examples of compact hyper-Kähler manifolds with torsion (HKT manifolds). The manifolds are hypercomplex Hermitian manifolds \((M,g,I,J,K)\) such that \(\partial(\omega_J+ i\omega_K)= 0\) where \(\partial\) is a \(\partial\)-operator with respect to \((M, I)\) and \(\omega_J= g(., J.)\), \(\omega_K= g(.,K.)\). This condition is equivalent to the existence of a quaternionic connection preserving the metric with totally antisymmetric torsion. Let \(N\) be a hyper-Kähler manifold. The author proves that the manifold \(M= TN- 0_N\) of nonzero vectors tangent to \(N\) admits a HKT structure. He also shows that the compact quotients of \(M\) which are bundles whose fibers are Hopf manifolds also admit HKT structures giving in this way new compact examples of HKT manifolds. In fact, the author gives a more general construction on any hyperholomorphic bundle with holonomy in \(\text{Sp}(n)\) over a compact hyper-Kähler manifold (or HKT manifold).
