Some properties of prequasinvex functions (Q1430927)

The authors study some properties of prequasiinvex functions, under the quite strong assumption that the function \(\eta\) satisfies the regularity condition \(C\) introduced by Mohan and Neogy in 1995. First, they present some characterizations of prequasiinvex functions. Subsequently, in the framework of prequasiinvex functions, they prove a characterization of semistrictly prequasiinvex functions via an intermediate-point prequasiinvexity check, improving a previous result of the same authors. Finally, they show that any differentiable pseudoinvex function is semistrictly prequasiinvex.
