Let \(K\) be a topological space and let \(X\) be a complex Banach space. Let \(C_c(K,L(X))\) denote the set of all commuting and continuous mappings from \(K\) into the Banach algebra \(L(X)\) of all bounded linear operators on \(X\). The author defines certain kinds of spectra of the mapping \(A\in C_c(K,L(X))\) and investigates relations between them. All these definitions are modelled after corresponding joint spectra of pairwise commuting \(n\)-tuples of a Banach space operators, e.g., the spectrum \(\sigma(A)\) is defined to be the set of all functions \(\lambda\colon\,K\rightarrow {\mathbb C}\) such that for every finite subset \(\{t_1,\ldots,t_n\}\) of \(K\), the \(n\)-tuple \((\lambda(t_1),\ldots,\lambda(t_n))\) belongs to the Taylor spectrum of \((A(t_1),\ldots,A(t_n))\).
