The autor considers a differential equation of the form \[ y^{(n)}(t)= Ay(t),\quad t\in [0,\infty),\tag{1} \] where \(A\) is a closed linear operator in the Banach space \(X\) with a dense domain \(D(A)\). A vector function \(y(t):[0,\infty)\to D(A)\) is called a solution to (1), if \(y(\cdot)\) belongs to \(C^n([0,\infty), X)\) and satisfies (1). Under some suitable assumptions on the data of (1), the author studies the well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for (1) in the class of analytic vetor functions.
