The authors consider a nonautonomous simple-species dispersal model with stage structure, in which an individual member of the population has a life history that goes through two stage: immature and mature. By using the theory of monotone and concave operators for functional-differential equations, the authors show that, under some assumptions, there exists a globally attractive positive periodic solution for this model, which generalizes a corresponding result in the paper [\textit{W. G Aiello}, \textit{H. I. Freedman} and \textit{J. Wu}, SIAM J. Appl. Math. 52, No. 3, 855--869 (1992; Zbl 0760.92018)].
