Conformal Killing forms are sections in the kernel of a conformally invariant first-order differential operator, and furnish a natural generalization of conformal vector fields on a Riemannian manifold. In the present paper the author establishes the existence of conformally Killing forms on nearly Kähler and weakly \(G_2\) manifolds. This leads to a complete description of special conformal Killing forms, and the author determines a sharp upper bound on the dimension of the space of conformal Killing forms. Contents include: an introduction; the definition of conformal Killing forms; examples of conformal Killing forms; special Killing forms; the dimension bound; further results; and a bibliography of thirty items. Reviewer's comment: This is a noteworthy paper which not only collects all presently known results on conformal Killing forms, but also contributes some new proofs and versions of previously known results.
