Im Anschluß an eine vorstehend besprochene Arbeit von \textit{Mazurkiewicz} (Fundamenta 14,107-115; F.~d.~M. 55\(_{\text{II}}\), 977-978) beweist Verf: Dann und nur dann ist ein beschränktes Kontinuum \(C\) in der Ebene unzerlegbar, wenn \(C\) nirgends dicht ist und einen Punkt enthält, der in keinem erreichbaren echten Teilkontinuum von \(C\) enthalten ist (dabei heißt eine Teilmenge \(X\) von \(C\) erreichbar, wenn es ein Kontinuum \(L\) gibt, so daß \(L\cdot C=X\), \(L-CL\neq 0\) ist).
