Beweis der folgenden von \textit{T. Ono} (Intermédiaire 1913, 224) aufgestellten Formel: Für \(x^2-5y^2=4\) gilt \[ \frac{x-y \sqrt 5}{2}=\frac 1x+\frac{1}{xx_1}+\frac{1}{xx_1x_2} +\frac{1}{xx_1x_2x_3}+\cdots, \] wobei \[ x_1=x^2-2,\;x_n=x_{n-1}^2-2 \;(n=2,3,\dots) \] ist.
