Es sei \(a_0,a_1,a_2,\dots\) eine Folge verschiedener reeller oder komplexer Zahlen, für die die Bedingung \[ | a_0|\leqq | a_1| \leqq | a_2| \leqq \cdots,\lim_{n \to \infty}| a_n|=\infty \] gilt; ferner sei \[ 0<A=\lim\inf_{x\to\infty} \frac{\pi(x)}{x}=\lim\sup_{x \to \infty} \frac{\pi(x)}{x}=B <\infty, \] wo \(\pi(x)\) die Anzahl der \(a_i\) ist, deren absoluter Betrag kleiner als \(x\) ist. Genügen dann die in \[ f(x)=\sum_{n=0}^\infty c_nx^n \] auftretenden Konstanten der Bedingung \[ \lim\sup_{n \to \infty}| a_1 a_2 \cdots a_{n-1}c_n|^{\frac 1n}<\text{Max} \left( \frac AB,\frac 12 \right), \] so ist \(f(x)\) durch eine Interpolationsreihe \[ \begin{multlined} f(x)=e_0+e_1(x-a_0)+e_2 \frac{(x-a_0)(x-a_1)}{(a_1-a_0)} \\ +\cdots +e_n \frac{(x-a_0)(x-a_1)\cdots (x-a_{n-1})}{ (a_1-a_0)(a_2-a_0)\cdots (a_{n-1}a_0)}+\cdots \end{multlined} \] darstellbar.
