Es wird bewiesen: Ist \(f(z)\) regulär in \(|z|<1\) und nicht linear, und ist daselbst \(|f(z)|<1\) so konvergiert die Folge der Iterierten von \(f (z)\) für jedes \(z\) aus \(|z|<1\) gegen einen von \(z\) unabhängigen Wert \(\alpha \). Dabei ist \(|\alpha |<1\), wenn \(f(z)=z\) in \(|z|<1\) eine Wurzel besitzt; andernfalls ist \(|\alpha |=1\).
