Eine Ebene im vierdimensionalen Raum wird bestimmt, derart daß die Summe der Quadrate ihrer Abstände von sehr vielen vorgegebenen Punkten ein Minimum wird. Die dabei auftretende Gleichung 6. Ordnung reduziert sich auf eine kubische.
