Der Verf. gibt die ausführlicheren Beweise für die von ihm schon 1920 (Science 52, 413) aufgestellten Sätze, daß die Lichtstrahlen und Bahnkurven im Gravitationsfeld einander gegenseitig bestimmen. Die Beweise werden für nahezu-euklidische \(M_4\) durchgeführt.
