      Dieser Aufsatz stützt sich auf einen von Phillips und Moore, betitelt, Rotations in space of even dimensions (American Acad. Proc. 55; Ref. oben). Aus den Resultaten desselben folgt, daß\ im \(R_4\) zwei Typen von Rotationen existieren, deren Trajektorien Kreise sind. Daher hat man zwei Arten von Rotationsflächen. Ihre allgemeine Parameterdarstellungen sind, bei der Voraussetzung, daß\ \(x = x(s), y = y(s), z = z(s), w = w(s)\) die erzeugende Kurve darstellt: \[ \begin{aligned} & X = x(s) \cot t - y(s) \sin t,\;Y = x(s) \sin t + y(s) \cos t,\;Z = z(s),\;W = w(s);\\ & X = x(s) \cos t - y(s) \sin t,\;Y = x(s) \sin t + y(s) \cos t,\end{aligned} \] \[ Z = z(s) \cos t - w(s) sin t,\;W = z(s) \sin t + w(s) \cos t. \] Zweck der vorliegenden Abhandlung ist die Untersuchung derjenigen Flächen dieser beiden Kategorien, welche eine konstante Krümmung besitzen. Mit Hilfe einfacher Rechnungen werden verschiedene Eigenschaften derselben abgeleitet.
