Gemeint ist \[ \sum_{s=1}^n \prod_{r=1}^n (a_{r1}+a_{r2}\omega^s + a_{rs}\omega^{2s}+\cdots +a_{rn}\omega^{(n-1)s}), \] wo \(\omega\) eine primitive Wurzel der Einheit ist. Form dieser Produkte. Verf. betrachtet auch Determinanten, aufgebaut aus Elementen: \(a_1+a_2\omega+a_3\omega^2+\cdots +a_n \omega^{n-1}\).
