Die Methode geht von den gewöhnlichen Differentialgleichungen aus, denen im lemniskatischen Falle \(\wp (u) - \wp(nu)\) als Funktion von \(\wp (u)\) und \(\frac {\sigma (nu)}{(\sigma (u))^{n^2}}\) als Funktion von \(\wp (u)\) genügt. Sie ist auch anwendbar für reelle ungerade \(n\) im Falle allgemeiner \(g_2, q_3.\)
