Verf. gibt die Ausdehnung eines Satzes von \textit{Riquier} (aus dem Buche ``Les systèmes d'équations aux derivées partielles''. Paris: Gauthier-Villars 1909, p. 470) über die Frage nach der notwendigen und hinreichenden Bedingung dafür, daß ein System von partiellen Differentialgleichungen regulär ist. Es wird der Fall, daß nicht alle abhängigen Variablen verschieden sind, behandelt.
