Durch eine krumme Oberfläche und durch zwei parallele Ebenen werde ein Körper begrenzt, dessen Volumen durch die bekannte Formel \(V=\frac16h(G+g+4m)\) ausdrückbar ist. Der Verf. stellt die Frage, welches die Form der Gleichung der krummen Oberfläche sei. Die allgemeine Lösung dieser Aufgabe vermag er zwar nicht zu finden, wohl aber einzelne Partikularlösungen.
