Mit Hülfe der Mikrowage von \textit{Salvioni} und \textit{Nernst} (wagerecht eingespannter Quarzfaden wird verdreht durch die zu bestimmenden Gewichte, sichere Messung bis 0,001 mg) ist die Geschwindigkeit der Verdampfung kleiner Kugeln (0,2 bis 1 mm Radius) aus Jod untersucht. Die Geschwindigkeit ergab sich auffallenderweise proportional dem Radius, nicht der Oberfläche. Zunächst sollen weitere Versuche mit Körpern anderer Form angestellt werden.
